David Joseph Cummins was born in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. He was raised in New Hampshire and went on to earn a business degree from UNH.
For years, David used his practicality, business savvy, and approachable way with people to make a successful career in corporate management. During this time, he took up several creative projects – most importantly a venture into print modeling and TV commercial work. This is where he discovered his true passion for acting.
David then enjoyed a variety of roles at the well-regarded Players Ring Theatre in New England, which hastened his desire to delve further into TV and film. He moved to formally study acting in NYC at the renowned T. Schreiber and Stella Adler studios.
